Description

�� I set up this display in the main display case of the Fremont Main Library. Monkeyman & O'Brien page and Ann Darrow O'Brien drawing by Arthur Adams, Hellboy Christmas page by Mike Mignola, BPRD cover prelims by Ryan Sook, and Prince Valiant Sunday and Zorro by Thomas Yeates. Brent Anderson helped Tom with some pencils on the Val strip. When selecting the pieces to show, I chose these artists from Northern California. Arthur was born in Massachusetts, but grew up and lives in the Bay Area. Mike was born in Berkeley, Thomas in Sacramento, and Ryan and Brent in San Jose. Seemed to be a nice way to tie them all together.

Very nice display! Interestingly, there's a separate single panel illo. of that last Hellboy claw panel in existence. I owned it at one time and always wondered where it belonged. Mystery solved!
