Description
Cover proposal by Jack Kirby that was altered, largely the figure of Cap. When I got this piece the alterations were attributed to Jim Steranko. Today I believe the changes are credited to John Romita. The actual published cover was modified even some more although the Kirby background figures were still included.

Amazing. Love to see Kirby pencils. Looks like Romita work on the Cap figure?
