New Warriors v2 #10 p12 (2000) Jamal Yaseem Igle / Walden Wong

Final Issue of Series, Featuring Cartoony Versions of Namorita, Nova, Speedball, Bolt, & Aegis.

I didn't read this series and have no clue what is happening with this page - the above description was all I got when I bid on it and I couldn't find any online synopsis of this issue to find out what was really happening on this page that spurred these cartoony versions of the heroes in the story. But all I thought of was that it was some sort of take-off of Power Rangers and South Park with the images of the heroes (and I never watched either of those shows either). The first panel of the slime monster menacing the city sold me on the page along with the giant Robot in the last panel to complete. Just a fun page!

Page is in excellent condition showing only minor wear associated with handling with slight bend in first panel.

Addendum: Had a fan of this series who was kind enough to email me what this page is about in case you were as curious as I was about it. Much thanks for the information! He said, "Hey, I saw in your description for this item that you said you had no idea what was going on in this page. In NW v2, Nova and Speedball had a minor side-story about wanting to get the Warriors their own TV series. In the last issue, they go to Hollywood and meet with a couple of producers (and Igle drew the producers as comic versions of himself and writer Jay Faerber). This page was the "pitch" for the show--a sort of Voltron-y/Anime bit. Nova and Speedy stormed off without even giving an answer. Just thought I'd pass the info along in case you were interested! It's a funny "meta" sort of page."
