Description
Tom Strong was a book written by Alan Moore in the style of comics of past eras.

Moore has often said how American Silver/Golden age comics of his childhood expanded his imagination.

The issue of Tom Strong that this page from (Memories of Pangaea) did that for me - the idea of a sentient proto-continent that retains the memories of its visitors really struck a cord.

I love the Pangaea storyline.  Don't think anyone has ever used a slime-mold protagonist, or personified Pangaea.  Did you know Alan Moore also invented GL's Mogo?

‘Mogo Doesn’t Socialise’ with Dave Gibbons! I have to say, I hadn’t picked on the similarity between Mogo and Pangaea until now.
