DescriptionSOLD AT AUCTION FOR $785!11-1/8x17" Marvel Comics artboard has Val Mayerik's original art for cover of "The Punisher" Vol. 2 #61, published by Marvel March 1992. Inked by Al Williamson. Mayerik's art features Luke Cage and Rook in a gunfight. Bullet refraction effects off Cage's head are original art paste-overs. "The Punisher" and "Crack Down" subtitle are stat paste-overs on acetate overlay attached at top w/tape. Publishing indicia is also paste-over stat on artboard. Bottom margin has handwritten title, issue number and date as well as creative crew. Scattered lt. handling wear w/aged printer's tape along margins. Art remains clean and Exc.
