Great painted splash by Mike Vosburg and possibly assisted by Chaykin.

"By the way, regarding Chaykin's work with Vosburg on those American Flagg Vol. 2 stories... Vosburg had told me that Chaykin had assisted him on interior pages up to issue #4 or #5 as Chaykin would decide to work on them when they were in the studio together. So, for interiors from the early issues of that series, Chaykin may have had a hand in it."

I assume this is the splash page to the second, shorter story in that issue.
