Firestar Sketch Cover Prelim 02

As you can see I've begun the process of transferring the roughs onto the good blank cover of Amazing Spider-Man #789. Utilizing micron graphic inks, I've done my best to translate the details of the original drawing - reduced to a 65% magnification via Xerox - to this surface. I'm just thankful that both figures can fit on the same page. I don't think I'll render the entire surface; rather, I'll frame it with a dissolve. I'm also trying to not throw in as much detail on Firestar's costume because from experience I know that yellow copics tend to smudge more so than any other color in my stock for some reason. I'm also contemplating defining the background - once it's sketched - with Prismacolor pencils to show distinction.
