Terry and the Pirates daily - September 2, 1995

What if Terry and the Pirates had been created in the 1990's instead of the 1930's? It might have looked something like this.

Writer Michael Uslan and artists Greg and Tim Hildebrandt revived the classic strip in 1995 for about a year. It was then taken over by Dan Spiegle until 1997 when it was cancelled again.

While certainly not up to the standard of the original Milton Caniff strip, the Brothers Hildebrandt did a nice job on the artwork and periodically used single panel strips without dialogue, to convey action.

I recently picked up a bunch of these strips and this is my favorite. It features Terry, Pat, Connie and Burma.
