Jen Wang is on a book tour for The Prince and the Dressmaker from First Second Books. I met her when she was a contributor to Kazu Kibuishi's Flight comic anthology. First Second published her first two graphic novels Koko Be Good and In Real Life. The latter is adapted from Cory Doctorow's story.

At the San Carlos Library as part of the Peninsula Libraries Comic Arts Fest, Jen gave a presentation on the new book and her working method. She enjoys drawing on paper and applies inks with a Kolinsky brush. The artist uses Photoshop to color the pages. Following a Q&A session, Jen signed and sketched for her fans.
