Description

I commissioned this drawing from Gene Colan in 1998 when he was advertising in Comics Buyers' Guide. I asked for a picture with Daredevil and the Black Panther, and he came up with the idea of having them fight dinosaurs in the Savage Land. Pretty cool, don't you think?

I got to meet Gene in person at a few conventions in New York in the early 2000's. He was a nice and very talented man who's sorely missed.
