MIKE DECARLO, MATT GROENING | MY FAMILY AS SIMPSONS

This was a wedding present to my wife, I owe big thanks to my good friend Mike Holder for getting Matt Groening to sign this and bringing it to us on our honeymoon in California, we had such a great time hanging with Mike and Jasmine and it brings so many happy memories when we look at this, I wish we could have hung out longer but we hit up a Tim Burton themed pop up restaurant and The Comedy Store. I requested Mike DeCarlo the artist to create us as Simpsons, I specifically requested he draw Matt Groening in a box, with "Hey –– these aren't my creations!" in hopes to get it later signed – thankfully this paid off. The finishing touches such as the dinosaur teddy, lego blocks, etc were a collaboration of ideas from Mike and myself, he really did a great job with getting our likeness... great guy!
