DescriptionBrush inks on the bold outlines with Rapidiograph pens for the details, cross-hatching and lettering (over non-photo blue felt tip lettering guides). 11X17 bristol, which I had printed with very handy nominal panel division tics, lettering tics, and live/bleed areas in non-photo blue ink. Of note is that I am still spec’ing type by hand here (calling out fonts and sizes with stenographer type notations on typing paper), the result of which is run out on PMT film by a local type house, and pasted up as titles, editorials, letters pages, etc. Starting with #14 I would go to a Computer Store and pay per hour to sit at a Mac and set type myself and print on laser printer. That was a huge shift in technology.Social/Sharing |
