DescriptionDisney "ToonTown " A Philatelic Celebration Of Mickeys 70th Anniversary . Grenada Stamp Painted Pan Background (Walt Disney, c. 1990s). This gorgeous original hand-painted pan background shows downtown "Toontown "at Christmas time, complete with animated fire hydrant and light post, and a gloved cartoon hand coming up from a manhole in the sidewalk, holding a wrapped, ribbon-tied present. This art background was created for Disney Stamp programs, And was used for that purpose; The art is in gouache with airbrushed highlights on illustration board; image area measures 35.75" x 12.25". There is some very slight water staining along the far left edge that appears to only affect the outer border, and there is a slight dust shadow-like stain along the top edge, over the Train Depot, but this remains a lovely piece art suitable for framing.
