DescriptionI love these four panel pages and I have several of them now. This nice example is probably from Daredevil #22, given the story (aftermath of his encounter with the Owl) and date (1966). Great first panel and the rest are all DD acrobatic action from Gene Colan's agile hand.Social/Sharing |

A defense lawyer worrying about the price of a taxi in the 1970's! And who's gonna pay for the dent on the hood of that car!
sweet page.

Yes I got the page from Friendly Frank Giella son of legend Joe... I've eyed this piece for a long time and made an offer that made sense to him and me... thanks again Frank!

Great page--love all the black ink on DD's costume, it gives the page so much depth.

What a beauty --- every panel is fantastic! Yes, Issue 22 p. 5, if I counted right. Colan was so perfect for this title and he got the look and feel right immediately on his legendary run, IMO

You’d be hard pressed to find a better definitive DD page! The art, artist, character, and overall scene and poses makes this a top notch example! Sincere congrats!

Love this page! It reminds me a lot of my Daredevil page from issue 80: https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1208056
One thing I like about Colan's work is even when he's kind of repeating himself, he's never using repetitive stock poses or relying on a limited set of tricks.
I wonder how many car roofs Daredevil wrecked during the Colan years?
