DescriptionThis 11"X17" art on 2-ply board has blueline (printed) pencil art by Image Comics co-founder Erik Larsen who rendered this image exclusively for the Inkwell Awards' "3rd Sinnott Inking Challenge Spotlight on Erik Larsen". It depicts Erik's creation the Savage Dragon and his family charging into an alien attack. This page was hand-inked by artist KEVIN CONRAD, then signed by both artists and donated to the non-profit Inkwell Awards to promote the art form of inking and as a major annual fundraiser. It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Inkwells director Bob Almond to validate the signature of Erik and the ink artist. The photo copy file of Erik's pencils does not come with the artwork and is shown here for reference. In some cases Erik's blueline signature was inked by the inker and Erik signed the page elsewhere or else the inker left it blank so he could sign it there (the scans are from before Erik signed them).Social/Sharing |
