Description
Panel pages do not get much better than this one. Just look at that incredible first panel. The Human Torch faces "The Dismal Dregs of Defeat!" in this story that features Doctor Doom having siphoned off the Power Cosmic from the Silver Surfer! This was during a high-point for the Lee-Kirby dream-team, and a lot of the foundations of the Marvel Universe were still being poured right through this flagship title. The page was rendered twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 19.5"

You killed it at this auction!  Every Kirby page is a masterpiece, but there are those that sit above the rest--and you got one of them; magnificent Sinnott inks, amazing image of Doom, from a classic story.  Congrats!
