Wow! Wow! Wowzers! This is the cover by Ed Benes of Superman Wonder Woman #27 in action fighting some robots. This is a beautiful cover of Superman and Wonder Woman. Now I did my research and there is another cover for this, a much bigger cover out there that they claim is the cover for the published book, but it does not match the published cover, line for line like mine does. You see that is what happens when you have such an excellent artist like Ed Benes and you don’t check and do your research. That other cover is a recreation by Ed Benes but it is not the original published cover. There are face lines on Wonder Woman In the recreation that are not on my original or the published covers, There is cross hatching on several of the robots and on Wonder Woman's torso that are on the published covers and on my cover as well but not on the recreation and many more differences that only experience can teach you to look for. What could have happened was that Ed sent a preliminary for approval and because his art is so tight, they approved the cover and used the preliminary as the published cover and then Ed sent the much bigger version that was never used. In any case I have the original cover for Superman Wonder Woman #27, and It is a win in my column as far as I’m concerned, Yeah! Tell me if you like it, what you think and leave a comment.
