Description

Probably like most people growing up on Superman and all related properties, I loved the stories of Superboy and his teen adventures. ALthough it was more of a 1950's experience than what I had, it was fun relating and putting myself into his position. And I understand that there are legions of Spider-man fans (and Marvel fans) that prefer his style of angst and experience, but not me. The DC format was JUST MORE FUN for me. As you can see, this page from 1961 mostly features Clark secretly being super. And it is a little of that period's craziness as well. Oh, what fun!

I agree. 1960's Marvel was so over-the-top with drama queens and melodrama. Dammit, just tell a fun story.
