DescriptionThis piece of Original artwork is based on the penciled lithograph by Jack Kirby done for the 50th anniversary of Captain America in 1991.In honor of the second Jewish Comic Con held in Brooklyn in 2018, Joshua H. Stulman revisited Kirby's pencils. The piece was fully inked by Joshua H. Stulman. Further revisions include re-draws of the smaller Captain America figure, which was re-envisioned by Stulman as Bucky. Background elements like Kirby Crackle and embellishments to the American Eagle were also done by Stulman. The piece was re-titled "American Patriots" and was originally released as a limited edition colored print by The Brooklyn Jewish Art Gallery for the Jewish Comic Con as a benefit. Social/Sharing |
