Frank Miller and Joe Rubinstein's Wolverine (Limited Series) #1 Page 15 (Marvel, 1982). He's the best at what he does... and what he does is draw Wolverine! Yes, we are talking about Frank Miller here. Hot off a hugely popular run on Daredevil, whereupon Daredevil had a run-in with a clan of ninjas called the Hand, Miller turns in the art on this four issue mini-series that set Wolverine against a clan of ninjas called... yeah, you got it... the Hand!

This Frank Miller page comes from the historic issue, Wolverine Limited Series #1 (1982), the first issue of a self-titled Wolverine series and one of the most important series of the era. It features Logan and his beloved Mariko reuniting as Logan learns more about how Mariko was forced to marry another man who has been beating her. We then meet Mariko's evil new husband, which forces Logan into "claws-out" mode. Miller's sense of cinematic pacing is legendary and this page is a fine example of how he earned his reputation. The 1982 Wolverine Limited Series is considered a classic of its era as superstar artist Frank Miller, who was still working on his historic first run on Daredevil, joined forces with superstar X-Men writer Chris Claremont to give that team's most popular member his own career defining story in which the hero travels to Japan. It's one of Miller's finest works, and the back story of Logan, which was an exploration into the human side of Wolverine.

Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Corners trimmed, all text is paste-up. Overall tanning on page. In very good condition.
