Description
Yet another Venom by the ever great (and nowadays much too rare in published form) Angel Medina whose work I can't get near enough of.

Simply put, I think Medina is one of the top artists when it comes to depicting Venom. If ranks were to be attributed, he would certainly reach the top 3 in my book and there are many great artists who have drawn the character.

Medina infuses a wickedness and touches of pure grotesque horror to the character that makes him a perfect fit. The fact that he also draws him so bulky distinguishes him clearly with Spider-Man as he draws him more athletically. His Venom always looks like he is ready to explode with power and tension. The overextended jaw with long teeth, tongue and saliva drops basically comes from Larsen but he does it differently as his style is more rendered and less cartoony than Erik’s.

Simply put a great artist first and certainly a fantastic Venom one.

Great description and I absolutely agree!  Angel’s exaggerated and detailed style fits perfectly with Venom!  Great piece here and the pencils really make the simpler costume design really pop!  Congrats!

Vicious and violent depiction of Venom, as he should be. He did great work. Congrats!!!
