Superman and Rocketeer by Michael Kaluta

This one has been a long time coming. These are my two favorite characters and I have always had an infatuation with Dave Stevens unmade third Rocketeer book which was supposed to costar golden age Superman. Well in 2013 Michael Kaluta had a kickstarter for Starstruck which included a 2 character sketch opportunity. Being that Kaluta was supposed to draw the unmade series and had been a contributor to the second rocketeer book this was a perfect match. 5 years later this was finally delivered and wow. He even included them fighting a War of the Worlds tripod, which was the antagonist of the rumored story without my asking. Feel like I'm truly holding a piece of unmade Dave Stevens history with this one and couldn't be happier.
