1st of 2 posts tonight featuring Marvel’s resident vampire slayer. Commissioned this from Khary at Heroes Con 2017. I gave him a few options and he was most excited about Blade so there you go - it shows, I think!

Very nice colors here. Great tone work and I really dig the red lenses and background that make for a more effective image via juxtaposition. I love the smirk on Blade while he’s holding the smoking gun...he looks happy with himself :) Blade’s known as a no nonsense character but you do get the sense he enjoys his work!

Khary said he liked how it turned out, too, and he must’ve as he included it in his most recent sketchbook! Thanks for looking!
