Description

During the 1980's a handful of artists were doing the best pinup pieces in comics, Dave Stevens, Sandy Plunkett, P. Craig Russell, Mark Beachum,Kevin Nowlan, and of course Brian Bolland, who did a beautiful "Lady Blackhawk" in DCcomic's "Who's Who" book...this is my version of that piece..

looks good,nice and clean. you can really see how much detail you add with the inks,this probably at 40% detail...the rest is added with the brush.

it's like putting up a house...1st you have to have a proper framework...then it's showtime!

As soon as I saw this I immediately thought of Bolland's drawing of her from the Who's Who issue. :) Guess that one made an impression on me when I was younger. ;). And this one's right up there, looks great! Looking forward to the inks.
