Description
This page was published in January 1962, penciled by Mike Sekowsky and inked by Bernard Sachs.

From the story entitled "For Sale -- The Justice League". Small-time gangster Pete Rickets stumbles across a device that enables him to control minds. He uses the device to gain control over the JLA, then auctions off the various members to his fellow crooks to do their bidding.

There aren't any costumed characters here but I still find this page to be quite appealing. It kicks off one of my favorite JLA stories, the artwork is gorgeous and it has a definite silver age flavor.
