Fantastic page! This run was fantastic and this is a great example why! Bachalo's art was the perfect match for this Strange world :-P

Superb pickup from a most excellent storyline probing what the Good doctor goes through for humanity and how it has changed him. Heck, he doesnt even need Magic to Kick some Serious Butt!!!!
Swinging through your -stupendous- gallery to visit some old friends... only to find I -haven't- left a comment on this one...? By the hoary hosts of Hoggath! A pulse-pounding barnburner of a page, K, with Bachalo's weirdness and brilliance redlining and turning out a fantastically grotesque and beautifully horrific sequence at the climax of this classic run. It is very, very Strange indeed (if you take my meaning). Mendoza is totally on-point with his inks, too, locking down the incredible atmospherics by capturing all the details and also leaving those huge, echoing, empty voids of pitch black in places. Wonderful!
So much of this run focused on The Cost of the mystical guardianship the good Doctor provides, and I loved how Chris and Jason produced absolutely terrifying enemies and obstacles that Strange took completely in stride (even without his magic), showing how inured to those extremes he had become over the course of his Great Good Work. I don't know that there's a point in this run where Mr. Misery looks more terrifying or savage. Fantastic grab, K! Love this!
