Description

I got in touch with Gerhard by email. He was very enthusiastic about doing the piece but needed time. A couple of weeks later I saw him at a convention in L.A. and I introduced myself. He asked if he could have some room to play with the piece and I told him to do what ever he wanted and just have fun with it. I'm so glad we met up because what he decided to do after we spoke face to face was so much more than expected. This is a lovely work from an artist who I feel best captured the spirit of the original Stevens.

I added a pic of the rough sketch he did that was his intention before our meeting.

No inks? I would love to see him ink this to see what his crosshatching would look like but overall he seems to rival Frank Cho's skills.
