From the second Grimjack story arc, "Buried Past". The arc originally appeared in Starslayer 12-16 and was published in 1983.
Grimjack began as a backup feature in Starslayer before graduating to its own book. At the time the original owner of this piece bought the art, almost 20 years ago, it was Truman's personal favorite Grimjack story. I dunno if it still is, but for sure it's still a great story!
Gaunt's quarry makes a break for it and he is jumped by goons to cover her escape. Grimjacks signature Death's Head Grin makes an appearance.
