At last! I can finally add a piece by my favorite artist to the gallery. Thanks to Mike for making this possible via trade. We both got some very special pages. It took a few years, but it was well worth it.

Mr. Foster was such an amazing creator. He maintained a standard, seldom matched, throughout a long career. I loved his Tarzan. As a Burroughs fan, he really captured the spirit of that exotic character. With Prince Valiant, however, his art reached an entirely new level. Each strip was an amazing masterpiece. You can find something new each time you take a look. Just a tour de force of creativity. Also, the scale of these strips is monumental. At 23" x 34", it is one impressive work. Each panel a little masterwork. Over the moon to own one of these.

Congratulations! That is also one of my dreams as a collector ..... a Hal Foster Prince Vaillant page. And yours is really beautiful!

I dreamed of this moment for years. Hal Foster has always been a constant inspiration, and an ultimate goal. Amazingly, dreams come true. My best wishes in your quest to add one. I love my other pieces, but this one is very special. Having it in front of me is almost like being in a dream.

First, let me say you have a beauty in that top tier. It represents all that is great by Mr. foster. That middle panel is a knockout! His use of black and white is simply amazing. Very thankful that I was finally able to add a piece by my favorite artist. I've dreamed of it for years. Thanks for commenting.

Thanks. I never thought I would have the opportunity to add a piece by my favorite artist to the small collection. Amazingly, it happened! I had to give up some well loved pages, but am over the moon with the addition. Still pinching myself. Afraid I might wake up!
