Description

Tonight I thought I'd post two consecutive pages from one of my very favorite Web Of Spider-Man issues.

In this one, Spidey battles the Brothers Grimm and their exploding pies. Really, I'm not kidding ... exploding pies.

I like how Spidey admits to hamming it up in the last panel of the preceding page, in order to give the Brothers a false sense of victory and thereby get the drop on them.

Great story telling by Saviuk and Williams.

A fun sequential page for sure! Classic Spidey battle dialogue all capped off with a kicker (or double kicker!) in the last panel! Congrats on a nice set of pages!

This is the real reason Hostess fruit pie ads were pulled from comics. Once they started exploding; sales plummeted. Fruitpie the Magician has now stooped to performing at kids birthday parties to make ends meet. How the mighty have fallen.
