Yes, that little landscape element (very similar to his "alien landscapes" style for the 50's). I never noticed from the book cover, but there is TINY little robot on that planet too!
Really love this one, John--my favorite period--looks like it's truly beautiful in person. Big congrats!
Thanks, Todd. Powers had such a range of styles. Most folks associate him with SF imagery (which I obviously LOVE), but I'm also a huge fan of his macabre/horror work, especially his early Ballantine "chamber of horror" pieces.
