Description

I absolutely love JH Williams III and companies Batwoman run. Many artists have tried to imitate his layouts and paneling but few are able to tell a coherent story while doing so. The run has really stuck in my mind and is still a good read for me. On this page in particular they manage to turn a normally fairly pedestrian part of a story into something special.

Love this JHW period. I think the Batwoman title is the gem of the New 52.

I agree it was easily one of the best books. I dove in pretty heavy and a lot of it was bad or forgettable. Batwoman, Chiang/Azarello WW and Snyder/Capullo Batman will be the most remembered probably. I think the most hidden gem may have been I Vampire which I thought was quite good at the time and introdued me to Andrea Sorrentino's art.
