Description

30" x 24". Original painting oil on stretched canvas. Circa 2008. Published by Harper Collins. An illustration for the special edition of the book by Arthur C Clarke and Frederick Pohl.

In 2008, Arthur C Clarke's last book was published. Publisher Harper Collins asked John Harris to produce five paintings to be used in a special edition. The book is a collectors' edition, limited to 500 copies and signed by John Harris as well as Frederik Pohl who worked on the text with Arthur C Clarke, and by Brian Aldiss who wrote the introduction.
