DescriptionThis was the beginning of the rabbit-hole. My perfect wife and peerless brother conspired together on my 40th birthday present and the result was some original Alex Ross work.After negotiating with Sal (who was such a gentleman that my wife is utterly convinced he's the finest person in all comics, and I don't know that I can argue that) my wife settled on a page and sent the payment. Unfortunately, the page went missing or was double-sold by mistake, so to compensate Sal sent 3 pages. Fast forward to me opening my present and you can imagine the excitement. This piece is unabashedly my favorite of the 3. Kingdom Come bruce detailed out very nicely. I'm really happy to have these pieces to round out my collection of Ross finished paintings (which came some years later). Thanks honey! Social/Sharing |
