1966-167 are surely the high water marks of pop culture music, film and comics, and the beginning of Marvel's ascent to greatness... This twice up, late 1966 page done as pop psychedelic music was taking hold over the world is a tour de force by talented Bill Everett.. a very attractive layout with two double panels that beautifully recount the Doctor's origin... the Ancient One and Mordo are both represented too and the page ends with a crazy great psycho-space battle... what imagination, what great theatre, all for 12 cents... no wonder we all love comics..by the hoary hosts of Hoggoth!!
