I think I may really be starting to hate the Christmas holidays. For the second time in three years, Mom was hospitalized in December. For the second time in three years, we almost lost her. And for the second time in three years, we spent Christmas and New Years in the ICU. Many of you know about her heart surgery on Christmas eve 2016. I�ll spare you all the details of her medical scare this time around, but there were definitely moments when we were all prepared to say our goodbyes. Luckily, as it was three years ago, she miraculously survived. She came home last week and we are all ready to travel the long road to recovery.

Obviously over these last three months, I�ve had little time or desire to think about anything else. So original art, or checking in on CAF, has been the last thing on my mind. Anyway, for those of you wondering where I�ve been or why you haven�t heard from me, well, now you know. I sincerely hope that you all had a much better holiday season than I did. And of course I wish you all a very healthy and happy 2019. With Mom on the mend, I look forward to getting back into the hobby and touching base with all my art pals in the weeks and months to come. My apologies to anyone who reached out to me and didn�t get a response. We�ll chat soon, I promise. Feels good to be back.

All my love, my friend. I've had lots of challenges with my mom and her health early 2018 and again early 2019 so I can completely understand and sympathize. I'm always here if you need me. Hope things look up for you guys!
