Description

I have big a huge fan of the Dodsons for many years. Always loved seeing their work on Spider-man, X-men, Harley Quinn, etc. I tried to get on Terry's convention commission list for several years before I decided to save up and buy a cover. At Emerald City, Terry had a veritable buffet of knock out artwork. I really regret passing on that X23! He still had some of his X-men work from 2016 which featured an updated version of Phil Noto's Vampire Jubilee outfit. I chose this cover due to it's team composition and the sheer amount of detail that went into it. I'm honestly shocked that the cover was available long enough to make it's way to me, so many of the Dodson's covers sell on the first day of conventions.

Really love the amount of characters and the varied expressions they all hold. Jubilee is one of my favorite characters and having Storm, Rachel, Psylocke on the cover makes it even better. Terry has such fine linework and Rachel's delicate inks makes details pop. Having such an incredible representation of an X-battle makes this piece one of my favorites in my collection. I liked this so much that I went and got a Rachel/Psylocke page as well at San Diego Comic Con later in the year.
