Unfortunately, this isn't the original Frank Kelly Freas cover for Planet Stories, November 1953, illustrating "Beyond the X Ecliptic" by Fox B. Holden. It is, however, the recreation of that cover that Freas did in the 1970's, for use as part of a series of six prints of some of his classic Planet Stories covers. It's somewhat smaller than the original cover would have been, but I'm not complaining!

Very beautiful! I have a print signed by Freas of this that has been hanging on my library wall for many years. The colors on yours appear more vibrant though.
