Swan, Curt & Anderson, Murphy - Action #700 page 41

The wedding of Lana Lang and Pete Ross. Two long-time supporting cast members finally tie the knot. The title of this particular story in Action #700 was "Swan Song", and it was one of Curt's last story credits for drawing the character he drew so wonderfully for over 40 years. Roger Stern relates in Eddy Zeno's CURT SWAN: A LIFE IN COMICS "I made sure we (Curt & Roger) did ACTION #700. I was determined to have some sort of wedding in there, so Lana Lang and Pete Ross were married and Curt drew those sequences." (p.140).
