That dance sequence is beautiful.
This is from 1983, and I'm seeing a huge influence both from and on Dave Sim's Cerebus: the animated split-panel dance, the way the B&W art stands on its own, the close-ups in the bottom three panels. Also recalling that Marshall did one or two Cerebus stories for special issues.
