DescriptionHercules is one of my very favorite characters. I loved him as a supporting character during this Thor run and think that should be a buddy movie Marvel should explore. Some of the best chemistry on a comic page is Thor and Hercules - and that is in sequential storytelling! I love their competitive relationship. They also have some great fights and here is a nice action page with a Dark Dweller mind-controlled Hercules battling Thor by Ron Frenz and Joe Sinnott."So thick is thy Olympian skull..." Thor vs Hercules scenes are ALWAYS a gas! For me, nothing will ever top the Thor #356 cover & story, but all other appearances are still fabulous. Congrats!

Couldn't agree with you more about the cameraderie between Thor and Hercules. They should definitely bring that to the big screen. Loved the Frenz/Sinnott artwork on Thor.

Herc/Thor battles are always a joy to behold and Roon did some great stories with his writer/chief buddy Tom DeFalco and some great oldschool inkers in that period !
