IMO, one of Boris's finest pen & ink drawings. I am not sure what type of ink Boris used for the piece but portions of the drawing have a multicolor, almost "shimmer" effect ... which seems most appropriate for serpents. The posted photo only hints at the beauty of the art when seen in person.
