Natalie Nourigat art display Fremont Main Library June 2019

      Natalie Nourigat is a story artist at Disney Animation Studios with a credit on Ralph Wrecks the Internet. This month, she is presenting her short film Exchange Student at the Annecy Festival in France. She created the graphic novel I Moved to Los Angeles to Work in Animation to describe her journey and share tips with animation job seekers. The Alameda County Library has copies to loan. At SDCC 2010, Steve Lieber suggested this young artist from the Helioscope Studio, formerly Periscope Studio, for a Miyazaki theme commission. I loved the Princess Mononoke she created for me at ECCC 2011. I've made a few more purchases over the years. This display includes one comic page and two drawings from studio costume and pose sessions.
