My favorite Spawn cover with an iconic full-figure Spawn bathed in deep McFarlane inks-- an iconic Spawn image on black background with McFarlane meticulously detailing flames in white ink, wow!

From all his Spawn covers, McFarlane chose this Spawn #95 for his Classic Cover Spawn action figure, also for the Weapons of Mass Destruction (WOMD) promotion set, “Covers of Spawn” limited edition and the inside cover of a McFarlane Toys catalog. Also published in "The Art of Todd McFarlane: The Devil's in the Details"

UPDATE (Jan 2021): McFarlane chose this for Spawn Compendium #1 cover!

The cover art for Spawn 95 was additionally reused as the box art for the Sega Dreamcast game Spawn: In The Demon's Hand (2000). Killer piece, congrats!

love this cover. capullo/McFarlane are an all time great art team. Greg is a master draftsman and Todd had the magic touch on finishing inks. there's clips of Todd inking this cover in a documentary called the devil you know inside the mind of Todd McFarlane
