DescriptionMICRA lead character ANGELA GRIFFEN by artist TED BOONTHANAKIT from 1987.MICRA (Mind Controlled Remote Automaton) was a black-and-white comic book by writer Lamar Waldron and artist Ted Boonthanakit that published seven issues in 1986-88. After being paralyzed in a terrorist attack, lead character Angela Griffen uses an android avatar, MICRA, to wage war against the government of a post-apocalyptic world. The sketch is on a sheet of drawing paper approximately 13 3/4" x 10 7/8" and has been carefully stored for decades in a smoke-free home. It was acquired in person from Boonthanakit at the 1987 San Diego Comic-Con. Social/Sharing |
