Description

(Filmation) The Kid Super Power Hour with Shazam! was a short-lived Saturday-morning cartoon in 1981. It featured two separate segments, one of which was Shazam! with captain Marvel and his Marvel family (Mary Marvel, Captain Marvel Jr., Uncle Marvel, and Mister Tawky Tawny).

This 9-cel setup with matching hand-painted background features the transformation of Captain Marvel Jr. aka Shazam Jr.

The foreground transformation cels were used in nearly every episode, beginning with episode 1 which first aired September 12, 1981.

The background is from episode 6 (which also featured the transformation cels) which aired October 17, 1981.
