I was introduced to the Trese series when I was visiting their Komikon in Manila several years ago - needless to say it quickly became a favorite of mine with its Noir-influenced Urban Horror. Fast forward to 2019 and the series is 6 or 7 TPBS in, with a host of spin off short stories and its not getting any easier to track down the series outside of the Phillipines (luckily I have local friends who can buy them for me every so often and ship them out).

As part of the series relaunch for licensed overseas publication (now picked up by Ablaze), Kajo redrew the original A4 ashcan #1 into a higher quality A3, vastly improving on the amateur doujinshi style from 2005.

EDIT : Netflix has licensed Trese for an animated series, launching in 2021!
