DescriptionThis second cover rough was done for the Scholastic book, NewsTime Fun Time Book, from 1967. The final version (see in the extra images) did not contain all of the critters, but starred the clown. I think the published version is not as good as this prelim layout. You'll note Bud's note on the bottom of the piece: "I can add a clown if you really need one". Clearly, Bud was not a fan of the Clown.Social/Sharing |
