DescriptionSo this is one of those right place right time things. When I saw the Nightcrawler that was posted on Brian's Facebook page, I was pretty jealous. In the art collector kind of way, in the way that you can appreciate a great piece of art but feel that little sting. But it's fine, everyone has that every now and then. But turns out that Brian had slots for NYCC and also that my mom happened to be in NYC at the same time as the con. A little emailing back and forth between Robert and myself and here we are! The version that is posted on FB actually isn't the finished version. If you notice, in this final image, Kurt has a little chin beard. I don't have to say how much I love this piece. The scan is a little bit cropped on the sides but man... I love this piece. Bonus, my mom got to meet Brian. Good times. Social/Sharing |

So jealous! Seems like you can't get anything from Brian these days unless you know someone, or in the right place at the right time. If I would have known about your mom, I would have asked you to ask her to get me something. LOL! Just a great portrait shot. Love the expression on his face. Truly one of the finest Nightcrawler pieces I've seen in a while. Congratulaions and enjoy it!

I don't know if you keep an eye on Brian's FB page but stuff usually gets posted there. Baltimore might be next? But yeah, I am really happy this worked out. Brian does a great Nightcrawler. It's going up next the the Kevin Wada and Yanick Paquette one as soon as I can get it framed.

Wow! An outstanding piece for sure! Love the expression, that the sword is included, and the color work is amazing. The blue contrasted with all of other colors, including the eyes, really makes the piece POP! Sincere congrats!
