Deadman by Garcia-Lopez

It's funny, you hear so many people say what a great artist Garcia Lopez is, and yet when you buy the comic - other than his obvious knowledge of anatomy and layouts - you wonder about the comments. Very good to excellent? Sure. Great? That's harder to discern. And yet here it is. His naked pencils have such raw power and determination that is very, very hard for an inker to capture. This piece, with its slightly exaggerated perspective, and excellent pose lets people see how great Garcia Lopez really can be. An excellent find.
